Banned Books Week is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. Typically held during September, it highlights the value of free and open access to information.
CLPL will host the Crystal Lake Read Out on Sunday, September 27 where community members will read from banned books.

1. Drive to the Crystal Lake Library at the corner of Paddock St. and McHenry Avenue, Saturday, Sept. 19, between 10-2pm.
2. Park near the back lawn.
3. Buy some HUGE MUM plants. ($12 or 3 for $30, cash or checks only, please)
4. Go home happy!
